If we had bought this thing years ago. He lives with a surfboard Motorola, for rent, at $ 5 per month from Comcast. We replaced two of them over the years, but today is more than 3 years. Realized that we could get one for years, only half of the lease did some research and picked this.
Easy to get installed. Not yet open the disc in. Just called Comcast and gave them the MAC address written on the side of the modem. When we put in place the first and 15 minutes later we were Surfing with the Linksys / Cisco CM100. Ran a second test at Speedtest.net. Doubled the download speed of 10 MB / s to 20Mb / s and upload speeds of nearly quintupled 1.25Mb / s to 5.5 Mb / s. Two times faster download. 4 to 5 times faster than upload.
Highly recommended.
